कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥
Ganpatangi has just been named Ganpatangi otherwise he doesn’t resemble
Ganpati in any way. Neither his teeth are missing or broken, nor is he having
big tummy. He is student of Bachelor of Arts and is in the first year. As there
is no good college near his residence he has to go 15 miles away to attend the
college. Train and bus facilities are available for this. He has taken
admission only five days back and seeing all the options he has decided to
travel in bus as bus stand is quite near to his residence and college.
Yesterday he had taken form from ST bus stand for preparation of
transportation pass. He got the signature of principal yesterday itself and had
gone for submission of the same to bus depot. There was great crowd at the
depot. He also stood in the queue as others and after some time realised that
the queue was hardly moving. But queue of girls parallel to him was moving
quite fast. The reason was greed of seeing as much beautiful girls as possible
and as per the beauty quotient of girls the expressions on the face of Depot
manager’s face used to change. Seeing a gorgeous girl a different light with
smile used to be there on his face, seriousness seeing an average girl and for
below averages as if he would have consumed some bitter thing. Sometimes some
staff person used to come in between to get the pass sanctioned directly for
their relatives or known’s. There were some such people who used to get the
things done by paying extra money to save time. Thus after clearance of 5-6
passes there used to be turn of common people. The queue of Ganpatangi which
was moving like a passenger train had got quite larger by this time. He could
not get the pass sanctioned even after standing for four hours in the queue.
After listening about the incident his father Shambhunath advised him to
keep patience and try again next day. He had become strong seeing all these
things in the life till now. Somehow the pass got clearance on the fifth day
after continuous try. Ganpatangi was quite happy as if he would have cleared
some great exam.
